While Shinkai Makoto was making Kumo no Mukou, Yakusoku no Basho , he made this short anime clip (2min 20sec) in parallel, for NHK's Minna no Uta (Everyone's Song) programme. The song Egao is sung by Hiromi Iwasaki.
