A long-form animation that depicts the eventful life of the Chinese philosopher Confucious. Broadcast on NHK General TV, this is an adaptation of Taiwanese manga artist Chen Uen 's series Toushuu Eiyuu-den which ran in Weekly Morning, but the content is considerably different.
