In the late 1980s, Aozaki Aoko abruptly enters the world of magi after her grandfather suddenly decided to make her the family successor. She moves into an old mansion in Misaki Town rumored to be the home of a witch in order to learn magecraft from the young magus Alice Kuonji , the supposed witch of the rumors. After witnessing the two using magecraft, Soujuurou Shizuki is also forced to live with them until a rune to remove his memories is discovered.
