Hinamori Amu is the only person to have four Guardian Characters , who can bring out Amu's true would-be self: the enthusiastic, athletic Ran ; the warm-hearted Suu , who is good at cooking and repairing; the quiet, artistic Miki ; and finally the mysterious Dia . Amu joins the Guardians of Seiyo Elementary — students with Guardian Characters of their own — who try to protect the would-be selves (eggs) of their fellow normal students. However, the evil Easter Corporation is trying to find the ominous Embryo , a special egg that grants wishes. The Guardians have been able to fend off peril several times, but the Embryo still eludes both sides.
